THE NEW COVENANT RATIFIED NOTEBOOK

--God was Adam and Eve’s friend and visited them every

day in the cool of the day—until they broke

   fellowship with Him in disobedience.

--God is a covenant-making God because He desires

closeness and intimacy with us.

--When fellowship (covenant) with God is broken, it is always

the fault of man, never God.

--Man cannot repair broken fellowship (covenant) with God.

 Only God can bring restoration.

--God told Adam of His redemptive, restorative plan and

later revealed it to Abram.

--God confirmed the coming of the New Covenant to

Abram and cut covenant with him that would

   reach into all future generations.

--God deals with us in our language and within our comprehension

to reveal His will, as in the New

Covenant symbolisms He showed to Abraham.

--God is still the “Hound of Heaven” seeking to save sinners

and bring them into His kingdom,

restoring fellowship in the New Covenant.

--God is our redeemer, provider and protector in the

New Covenant.

--Partaking of the Sacrament (Lord’s Supper) is remembering

what Jesus did for us in the New Covenant.

--Be joyful and tell the Good News of the New Covenant

to everyone.  “…The joy of the Lord is your

   strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10).
